School Business Management Degree
BA in School Business Management
This 'top-up' degree is the only such programme in the world designed for, and dedicated to, School Business managers. With over 160 graduates participating in and all areas of the UK, the degree has gained world prominence, and has an astonishing success and retention rate of 94%.
The first ever SBM students graduated in July 2008. These students have led the way in their academic achievement and are the first to demonstrate that School Business Management is a graduate profession that is breaking all boundaries.
The way it works
Six taught units, each with a written assessment, and a dissertation/management project are spread over two years to allow time for reading, writing, research and reflection. All written assessments and the dissertation can be focussed on the student’s own priorities and projects at work.
Students select units from the following areas:
- Research and Professional Development
- School Context
- Leadership & Management
- Independent Study OR a 2nd Leadership & Management unit
