Certificate of School Administration (CSA) and Certificate in Administrative Management Programme

The Manchester Metropolitan University’s Institute of Education, Centre for Innovation, Technology and Enterprise (CIE) has developed a professional pathway for the staff within education or business settings.

In partnership with the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) the Centre for Innovation, Technology and Enterprise (CIE) at Manchester Metropolitan University are offering the dual award Certificate of Administrative Management and the Certificate of School Administration (CSA) Course.

The programme is specifically designed to enable participants to upgrade their administrative skills, develop their career in school administration and/or business management and develop themselves personally. This course has three modules that must be followed by all participants:

•       Module One: Knowing your school or business organisation

•       Module Two: Working with people

•       Module Three: Understanding your role

The course activities are specifically designed to encourage participants to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to their school or business context.  The course takes approximately six months to complete and during that time you will attend three one-day training events. In between these events you will keep in contact with your tutor and other group members through our dedicated online learning system voted No. 1 for School Business Managers (Google 14 February 2011) and via e-mail.

On successful completion of the course you will receive the Institute of Administrative Management’s Certificate in Administrative Management and Manchester Metropolitan University's Certificate of School Administration.
